Updated SEVEN WONDERS cover and a little light housekeeping

Right, I’m off to France in a couple of days, where I shall valiantly attempt to add at least some words to The Age Atomic. Writers on holiday, right? Right. In the meantime, the site won’t be gathering dust, as I’ll be having a few guest posts on here from a bunch of great writers.

But in the meantime, the cover for my forthcoming novel Seven Wonders has been finalised, with some minor touch-ups that probably only I would ever notice, and the addition of that little quote from Greg Rucka. And… yeah, I admit it. Greg Rucka. On the cover of my book. This is about my favourite thing in the world. Greg Rucka.

Also, the print ARCs are now in the wild – hopefully mine will be arriving today, but here’s a snap from my editor, Lee Harris, of the latest three from Angry Robot. And what a fine trio they make…

Which means it’s time for some Seven Wonders housekeeping!

  • You can find out all about the book here!
  • UK readers can pre-order the book now from Amazon.co.ukThe Book DepositoryWaterstonesFoylesWH Smith or your favourite local bookstore.
  • US readers can pre-order the book now from Amazon.comBarnes & NobleIndieBoundPowell’s BooksRandom House or again from your favourite local bookstore.
  • US readers can pre-order the ebook from Amazon or Barnes & Noble. UK readers will need to wait until the release date (6 September 2012) to get their ebooks. I don’t know why you can’t pre-order in the UK, but thems the breaks.
  • Seven Wonders is getting a limited collector’s edition hardcover exclusive to Forbidden Planet – each is signed and includes a bonus short story, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the ComicCon, which won’t appear in any other print edition. You can pre-order the hardcover from Forbidden Planet, but there are only 100 copies, so you’ll need to get in quick.
  • And we’ll be launching Seven Wonders at the Forbidden Planet Megastore in London on Thursday 6th September, starting at 6pm. The limited edition hardcover will be on sale alongside the standard paperback. Event details are here – please come along and say hello!
  • There will be a US launch in Chicago in August – more details on this to follow, but it should be a rather special event!

And… we’re done! Now, better get packing…

  • Shiny cover, Adam!

  • Well done, A – looks like a slab of gold (true to the contents!). Now, get packin!
