Things I thought were pretty neat in 2013

So 2013 was a pretty great year for a lot of things – there were a tonne of great books, a heck of a lot of amazing television, and some great music too. It was also an odd year for films, with a lot of major blockbusters – including a few I was really looking forward to – completely misfiring for me.

This is my personal list of things I thought were awesome this year.¬†Some of this list appeared over at Forbidden Planet International a couple of weeks ago, but there’s some extras here. And as there is a distinct risk of me waffling for ages, which is boring, here’s my list in (mostly) pictures:
